General

De Kattekop Childcare Foundation was established in 1980 and is one of the oldest childcare centres in Leiden. It is intended exclusively for staff and students of Leiden University. One of the parents or guardians has to be a student or member of staff of Leiden University or of an institution affiliated to the University.

The childcare center has two baby groups and two toddler groups. Each baby group has nine children aged between 8 weeks and 2 years, and each toddler group has a maximum of sixteen children aged from 1 ½ years to 4 years.
